Sweet and soulful Xola came to Argos Rescue as an owner surrender. Her family just had too many dogs and the elderly female in the pack decided that she no longer liked Xola.

History: Xola was born in Mexico five years ago and immigrated to the US as a young pup. Xola was born with a congenital abnormality in her legs…. But she’s not aware of it and it doesn’t affect her too much.

More than likely Xola is a full breed Xoloitzcuintli. She’s almost hairless.
With her soulful eyes and sweet nature, Xola is looking for a forever home with another sweetheart dog or two. Xola loves people and short walks. Hiking to the top of the mountain and back is not really her cup of kibble.

We are currently working on getting some braces made for Xola, not to correct the deformity but to help her stabilize those legs in the later years of her life.
