A hot summer day and this sweet 8-year-old Bluetick Coonhound enjoyed spending time with his family at a local lake. After splashing and running all day, he was ready to go home… but when he looked they were gone.

Otis waited. And waited. Days passed. Still, he stayed—loyal as ever—until a kind stranger said come with me.

Now safe with Argos, Otis is showing what a gentle, laid-back guy he is. He’s great with other dogs, loves ear scratches more than toys, and has that classic hound “howl.” when he feels it’s important to say something. All he wants now is a comfy bed and a family who will never leave him behind again.
