Meet Mikah — a Beautiful 2 year old 70-pound Bernedoodle. She’s smart, social, playful, affectionate, and happiest when she’s part of the family fun.

Mikah came to Argos Rescue with her sister Kaia after they were surrendered through no fault of their own. The girls were originally adopted together, and their adopter described them as “perfect.” So why is sweet Mikah looking for a home again?

Well…blame it on the chickens!

Their adopter was unable to separate the chickens (with no mention of the chickens prior to adoption) and these two were just a little too interested in chasing their feathered roommates. While the dogs considered this just harmless fun, the chickens didn’t agree. It was decided that a home without backyard chickens would be a better fit.

While we originally hoped to keep these sisters together, we’ve learned that both can thrive in separate homes as long as they have a compatible canine companion.

And Mikah has SO much to offer!

Mikah has done absolutely nothing wrong. She’s simply a wonderful dog who needs the right home — one filled with love, companionship, playtime, and adventures.
