Max is a 1-1/2-year-old, 114-pound St. Bernard who came very close to losing his life. After being surrendered by his owner to a local shelter, Max was placed on the euthanasia list simply because the shelter was full. Being an owner surrender the shelter had no time restriction to hold. Argos couldn’t let that happen to such a good dog and stepped in to give him the second chance he deserved.

Max is gentle, easygoing, and loves being around people. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys relaxed strolls. He gets along well with other dogs, no matter their size.

Max is quick to learn, well-behaved, and has great house manners. He’s ready for a fresh start in a home where he can feel safe and loved.
