There’s something special about Franklin, our adorable 6-month-old terrier mix who weighs 18 pounds. Franklin and his brother Linus were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas, where their futures were anything but certain. Now safe with Argos Rescue, Franklin is getting his chance at the wonderful life every puppy deserves.

Franklin is pure puppy joy! He’s a happy, affectionate little guy who thinks everyone he meets is a new best friend. People of all ages, other dogs — Franklin loves them all! He’s especially fond of his stuffy toys and is always ready for some playtime fun.

But there’s more to Franklin than his playful personality. He’s a bright little pup who pays attention, listens well, and genuinely wants to make his people happy. With his sweet nature and eagerness to learn, he’s going to be a wonderful companion.

Franklin isn’t picky about what his forever family looks like. He’d be just as happy sharing adventures with a single person as he would being part of a busy family. What matters most to him is having people to love and a place where he belongs.
