We never shy away from rescuing those pups that are most in need. Pups that have disabilities, those with medical and extreme medical conditions, or those that will require VERY unique and special adopters.

Time and time again, we’ve matched special pups with special people who absolutely accept them, love them and adore them.

Meet: Eva & Ellie

Eva and Ellie needed us. They came to Argos Rescue today from a very crowded local shelter. These two beautiful Chi Chi girls are a bonded pair. Eva is about 4 and Ellie is 8 or 9.

What’s amazing about this duo is that Ellie is blind and Eva is her seeing eye dog.

To watch these two pups navigate the world together is nothing short of pure magic.

Ellie stays near Eva at all times and Eva looks over her shoulder to be sure her sidekick is close by. If Ellie wanders off, Eva circles back to make sure all is well.

When a short separation is necessary and the girls are finally reunited, they both exhibit overwhelming joy.

These happy little spirits are tail wagging, full of glee, sweethearts. It’s a beautiful partnership these two have worked out together.
