September 12  Leo Has Prosthetics!!!

Leo has been through quite a few changes in the past few weeks. Surgery to neuter him and repair his cherry eye. He needed some healing time before his big update.

This wonder dog is adjusting well to all of the love and attention his foster momma and everyone who knows him pours over him.

Thank you all for the outpouring of love and support for Leo. He’s one deserving and special boy.

This is not an easy video to watch. Leo has lived like this since the day he was born. We believe his previous owners loved him and may have done their best.

At Argos Rescue we are committed to improving Leo’s life. Managing Leo’s pain, improving his mobility, neutering him, fixing his cherry eye, putting a bit of weight on him, and giving him all of the love and attention he will tolerate.

Meet Leo.

Leo is a very lucky boy.

After being alerted to Leo’s plight at BCAS by our vet partners, Argos Rescue made the call at 9 pm on a Thursday night to BCAS. Their amazing staff answered the call.

As of Friday morning, Leo is in our care. hank you to BCAS, Argos volunteers, and our vet partners and their staff for always looking out for these pups.

Chris from All 4 Paws Orthopedics immediately came into town to meet Leo and assess him for prosthetics.

Leo will have some extensive surgeries in his future. For right now, Leo is safe, happy, and extremely loved.

Thank you all for your continued support and love for those without voices.
