Winter was surrendered to a NM shelter with her companion Zach; the owner was done with them and requested euthanasia for both dogs. (See Winter in comments when we picked her up from the shelter.) Shelter staff refused euthanasia on these one year old pups. They care about the dogs that come in to their shelters and they reached out to us to help them and give them the much needed attention and medical care they deserve.

Winter is pure sweetness .. gets along with other dogs and loves human attention. She is learning house manners as in her previous home she wasn’t allowed indoors. In her foster home she is indeed living the good life and has quickly adapted.
