Differently Abled ?

Our Sophie girl came to Argos from a rural NM shelter. She’s about 2 years old, is an absolute love, and gets along great with other dogs.

Sophie is a bit different. She was born without a paw on one of her back legs and the other back leg has a paw with only two pads and one toe. Our vet believes this to be congenital.

The interesting thing about Sophie is that she doesn’t know that she’s differently abled. Sophie gets around just fine using the equipment she was born with.

A little shy at first meet around new people and new dogs, Sophie adjusts quickly.

We will be looking for a quieter home with another dog or two that will give Sophie the love, support, and protection she needs.
