Ruby and her brother Smokey were surrendered to a small community shelter when their owner could no longer care for them.  They are 1-1/2 year old labrador retrievers ready to find a new home.  Their foster mom describes them as typical labs .. big and goofy, but more mellow then most labs their age.  They are people pleasers and eager to learn.  They do well in the house as they are house trained and not overly energetic.  They love kids and get along well with other dogs.  We would like to keep them together, but would consider separate homes if the family includes another dog the same energy level.
