Lucas came in to Argos Rescue yesterday as an emergency. We immediately got him in to see our vet partners and then over to see the eye specialist all in a day.

Lucas is a blind Doberman. He’s about a year old and the sweetest boy ever. Lucas likes other dogs and needs a kind dog to be his “seeing eye dog”. He loves people. He is learning to come to a whistle and is extremely treat motivated. Lucas also smiles !

We have been told that Lucas was the runt of his litter. He is an extremely small Doberman and based on his size, he could pass as a 7-8 month old puppy.
Lucas will need to have both of his eyes removed as soon as we can find him a dedicated medical/ special needs foster home.

Argos Rescue supplies everything needed to foster and we pay for all veterinary care.
