Say hello to this most handsome boy Jake💕

Jake came to Argos Rescue an extremely sick pup. Suspecting many different ailments and not having confirmation on any of them, it took over a week in the ICU to stabilize him
.
After many weeks, numerous blood tests, X-rays, ultrasounds, and specialists, we finally have a diagnosis. Our boy Jake was born with only one kidney. A congenital defect.

Jake can live a great life. He’ll need an adopter who can provide him the special diet and vet care that he’ll need. Yearly vet appointments and periodic bloodwork to check for kidney function.

Jake is a precious 6 month old Lab Golden X. He has a wonderful zest for life. A truly special boy.💕

Jake gets along great with other dogs and has a calm and sweet energy.
