Gigi came to Argos Rescue an emaciated and sick pup from a rural NM shelter. She was in such rough shape at the time that we didn’t think she’d pull through. After a week in the vet’s office with all the love and care we could give her, Gigi was finally stable enough to go to foster and is thriving in her foster home.
Gigi is a 4 month old lab/golden mix weighing 26 pounds, double the weight from just one month ago. She knows how to sit and paw/shake and loves to relax in the backyard , play fetch and hang out with her foster dog brother and sister. She’s cat friendly too. She’s house trained and sleeps through the night. She is gentle with kids, loves to cuddle and her demeanor is calm.
