This sweetheart pup came to Argos Rescue as a dire emergency request from Valencia County Shelter.

Coal was in rough shape when he arrived. In order to save Coal’s life, he immediately underwent extensive surgery to put his intestines back inside of his little 3 pound body.

It was touch and go with him for a few weeks.

Today Coal is healed, acting like a typical puppy, and in a wonderful foster home.

Coal will have hernia repair surgery at the same time as his neuter surgery in about 3 months.

Coal is a little dog breed. Maybe a terrier x and will weigh approximately 15 Lbs when full grown. He is great with other dogs and would love a home with other littles or a calm big dog.
