Aspen

Aspen

Aspen had quite a difficult start to life. Not even old enough to fend for herself, she was left alone in the West Mesa with a severe skin infection. Her spirit has proven to be unbreakable though- fully recovered she is a social butterfly who adores all people and prides herself on being the life of the dog party.

Eight month old Aspen thoroughly enjoys zooming and wrestling with her foster siblings and she just melts whenever she meets a new human friend. She loves her crate, knows how to use the dog door and has been easy to house train. She responds well to praise (and peanut butter) and walks well on a leash and sits politely for treats. Even though she loves to be busy and active, Aspen also settles nicely and enjoys long naps and relaxing with a chew toy next to her foster siblings. Because she is so dog social, she would be a great candidate for doggie daycare.  We are looking to find Aspen a home with other dog friends she could play with.

We think Aspen may be an Aussie or husky mix and she will most likely be a med breed girl.
