Barney came to us from a local shelter looking very neglected and obviously feeling unloved. A trip to the groomer, some loving attention from our volunteers, and good food made our boy feel like he could conquer the world. His shyness gave way to confidence and he can’t wait to see what his future has for him.

Barney, a wheat terrier mix, is about 5 years old and weighs 16 pounds. Barney is playful, gets along with other dogs, and loves attention. His favorite activity is running with a playful “catch me if you can” demeanor only to stop for numerous pets and hugs.
