Pixie – a cheerful mischievous sprite.
Our tiny miracle pup Pixie is one of the sweetest, most playful, and loving girls around.
When Pixie arrived at Argos she was a very sick pup.
Along with a severe upper respiratory infection, Pixie was also diagnosed with coxidia. Coxidia can be a killer in young pups and Pixie’s case was extreme. Add a positive distemper diagnosis to the mix and we had a pup with almost zero chance of survival. (Pixie’s brother passed away soon after diagnosis.)
It has now been three months since Pixie came into Argos Rescue. Working together with her wonderful fosters and our vet’s that provided extraordinary medical care, Pixie is healed and ready for her forever home.
Pixie is tiny !!! She’s now 7 months old and weighs just 5.6 pounds. We’ll be looking for a home that has other small dogs for her to play with. Pixie LOVES other dogs and LOVES toys.
