Meet our beautiful 2 year old border collie lab mix Ella. She came to us together with her 4 puppies – just hours away from the entire family being euthanized at a NM shelter. Their crime .. just being there. Ella spent some time at our vet clinic and quickly become a favorite with her sweet demeanor and desire to please.

Ella is a gentle girl, loves people and other dogs, and is well-mannered. She enjoys outdoor playtime and would love a home where she can get lots of love and attention. Ella is just 40lbs, a medium size dog.

Ella’s foster dad writes:

I’ve been fostering Ella for a little over a week now, and everything I’ve learned about her is good. She’s potty trained, doesn’t chew things, gets along well with my dogs, is fairly quiet, knows sit and down, and walks really well on leash. Ella was very shy when she first came, but after about three days she turned into an affectionate, happy dog. If you like lots of tail wagging and kisses, and over-the-top greetings, Ella might be the dog for you!
