Ollie is a typical 4 month old puppy.
He loves walking, playing, cuddling and especially laying in the sun. He also happens to have Megaesophogus.
It’s a condition in which his esophagus muscles don’t contract like a regular dog. Ollie doesn’t let his condition define him.
His forever family will have to watch what and how he eats. His condition has greatly improved with much trial and error and he now eats sitting in his Bailey’s Chair. He hangs out for awhile to let gravity bring his food to his stomach. Ollie is able to drink water (which is really good news for a ME dog) and has been steadily gaining weight.
Ollie loves the bigger dogs and the kids. He plays like a typical puppy and is learning to love his daily walks. He is very smart and highly trainable. Ollie is motivated by treats – we use lickable treats, and he is completely house trained, uses the dog door and knows “sit.”
He is cuddly, loves laying on the couch with his foster family, and wants very much to please.
