Our Petunia came to Argos nearly 8 weeks ago. She is an almost 16 week old Lab Pyrenees X weighing in at 28Lbs. Tuney as we call her, is a very special puppy.
Petunia was born with Shaking Puppy syndrome. Shaking Puppy syndrome, also known as Canine Hypomyelination is in short, a delay in the development of the central nervous system. This delay causes Petunia to have tremors or shaking in her body.

Petunia is a happy pup. She eats, sleeps, plays with big dogs, small dogs, kids, cats, chickens, and just loves everyone. She climbs stairs, wants to jump up on the couch, swims, enjoys toys and loves the water in her baby pool.
Although Petunia’s tremors may never completely go away, the prognosis is a good one. In the 8 weeks Petunia has been with Argos, there has already been a huge improvement and her nervous system is slowly catching up.
