We couldn’t believe it when we saw this handsome 4 year old “silver” lab listed on the euthanasia list of a small community shelter.  Danny Boy is now a member of the Argos family and will never be on death row again.  He is affection, loves people and other dogs, and has a strong desire to please. He is good in the house and knows basic commands.

What is a silver lab?  It’s a chocolate lab that takes on the shades of a weimaraner due to a diluted gene, thus causing the more muted coloring.  While silver labs are rare, they are recognized by the AKC as chocolates.
