Meet Zoey!

Zoey is a beautiful 2½-year-old yellow Lab mix weighing about 70 pounds, and she’s one of those special dogs who makes you wonder how she ever ended up in a shelter.

Rescued from a local high-kill shelter, Zoey has quickly shown us what an absolute gem she is. At a recent adoption event, her wonderful temperament was on full display. She happily greeted everyone she met—adults, children, and dogs alike—with a big smile and a wagging tail. New friends? Yes, please!

Zoey is great on a leash, eager to please, and seems to take everything in stride. She has that wonderful Lab personality—friendly, happy, affectionate, and ready to be part of whatever her people are doing.
