Buttons is a 5-year-old Cairn Terrier mix weighing in at just 8 pounds, but don’t let her size fool you—this little girl has a huge personality and enough confidence for a dog ten times her size!

Buttons came to our rescue at the request of a local shelter after her beloved owner passed away. Despite the changes in her life, she has remained cheerful and ready for her next adventure.

Buttons arrived with her best friend, Hank. While we would love to see them adopted together, we’ve learned that both are independent, adaptable and would thrive in separate homes as long as they have another playful canine companion to keep them company.

Friendly and confident, Buttons is the kind of dog who quickly becomes the center of attention wherever she goes.She’s looking for a family that will appreciate her spunky spirit, enjoy her playful nature, and give her the love she deserves.
