Meet Murdoch — a Senior Lab

Murdoch is an 8-year-old Black Lab who came to Argos with his Golden Retriever companion Bailey. Unfortunately Bailey recently died of cancer. They spent their entire lives in a loving home until a long and unexpected medical crisis left their family unable to care for them. Scared and confused, they found themselves at a local shelter—until the shelter reached out to us for help. Now safe in rescue, Murdoch is ready for his next chapter.

Murdoch is everything you love about senior retrievers: friendly, calm, and endlessly sweet. He is well-mannered, happy, and brings a peaceful warmth wherever he goes.
