We first met Bilby after receiving an urgent call late one evening from a local shelter. An 8-week-old Shih Tzu puppy, badly injured after being hit by a car, was on the table to be euthanized. Could we help? Of course—we knew we had to try.

Thanks to our incredible vets and the love of his foster mom, Bilby not only survived—he thrived. Now 8 months old, he’s a healthy, happy pup whose only reminder of that terrible accident is a stiff rear leg that doesn’t stop him from living life to the fullest.
