Hazel is looking for a hospice foster home.

Hazel is a 10-year-old Lab/Pitty mix who was just moments away from losing her life due to overcrowding at a New Mexico shelter. Already in the euthanasia room, Hazel was given a second chance when shelter staff made a heartfelt plea to Argos Rescue to save this precious girl. Now safe, Hazel is ready to find a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years with the comfort and kindness she deserves.

Despite all she’s been through, Hazel remains a gentle, affectionate soul who loves people. Weighing 51 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion—just right for cuddles and companionship. Hazel has so much love left to give and is looking for a person/family who will cherish her as much as she will them.
