Our handsome pup Spencer came to Argos from a small eastern New Mexico shelter with his 5 siblings. While the shelter believed they had parvo and planned to euthanize we, of course, still said yes to them. Upon arrival they were tested and all tested negative. Unfortunately, they came to us with distemper, a deadly disease that is extremely difficult to cure. For the next 3 weeks they received great care from our vet and foster family, but we sadly lost 4 of the puppies.

Spencer is now 5 months old and a happy, friendly, and very healthy lab mix puppy. He is very well-socialized with people and other dogs and is quickly learning good house manners. He has a moderate energy level and would do well with any size kids and dogs.
